Тази песен е на 42 години, сигурно по-възрастните от нас сме я чували по 420 пъти, а чак вчера се заслушах какво точно се пее в нея. Днес с нея ни поздрави нашият скъп колега Rossen Roussev. Не е сантиментално-захарна и измамно-оптимистична, даже напротив. Във втория куплет се казва, че идва прекрасният нов свят (sic! the brave new world, точно като заглавието на романа на Олдъс Хъксли); и за човека/човечеството на глинени крака, което се лута... Но въпреки това да мечтаем и да се опитваме да живеем според мечтите си, в които всеки съсед ще ни е ближен. Защото иначе, както се изпява два пъти в песента, трябва да легнем и да мрем. А и с какви ли лъжи ще се срещнем след още 10 години, пеят те още през 1979 година. Така е винаги след коледно-новогодишната еуфория, признаваме си, че много от мечтите ни са като конфетите на пода. Вече приземени и очакващи измитането си и изхвърлянето на боклука.
И все пак: честита нова година!
